It’s no secret that I *love* to craft… so when Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores contacted me to take part in their #teachercreativity blog hop, I jumped at the chance!
My little projects all center around teacher’s new best friend: Washi Tape! I picked up some chevron tape in my classroom colors: pink, blue, and an orangey-yellow {I also have green in my room, but skipped it this time}. I had so much fun putting the tape on… everything! It’s so easy to use, because you can reposition it ’til you get it just right.
First, I dressed up some clothespins! I’m super excited about these– they are so much better than plain clothespins! I switched out the boring pins on my hallway display for the new and improved Washi version. 🙂
Next, I added a little detail to my bright pink 3-drawer container! I bought this container from Jo-Ann over the summer… isn’t it so pretty? Never mind that it’s empty. 😉
Then I taped up a wooden letter P {for my last initial}, and set it out on my desk.
And last but not least… I prettied up some paint cans! 🙂 I added a Washi border to the top and bottom rims of the cans. I used a scallop punch on some chalkboard vinyl to make the labels on the tops of the cans. Aaaand I attached the little lid openers to the can handles with some pretty, matching ribbon! Now I just have to fill them!
