Before I leave you, I wanted to share an awesome website I found for discount school supplies!! I was recently contacted by Discount Office Items by a sweet representative, asking me to check out their site from a teacher’s point of view! Being an admitted “School Supply Addict,” I said “YES!” of course! {Plus, it doesn’t hurt that I am going to get some goodies to try out and *share with YOU* in a giveaway later!!}

This site has a ton of products to offer! You can pick up anything from pencils to dry erase boards, and even cute classroom decor like this:
Along with great discounts, this site also offers low, flat rate shipping on all orders… and free shipping on orders over $75! Which isn’t hard to spend at all 😉
Click on the picture if you want to check it out:
Happy Crafting and Shopping!!!
If you're ever in need of more lightbulbs, I did find them online for about $0.49/more per bulb — if they really work for your kiddos, it's something to think about! I'd been hoping to scoop up some extras and do a giveaway, but I haven't gotten my hands on any!
I love your attendance boards and your box-top holder. I definitely need to look into doing something similar!

There's No Place Like Second Grade
I love your attendance boards! The bright colors just pop with life.
*Good call using the strawberry Nesquick. Every time I'd plop those box tops inside the container, I'd inhale and smile. Yum! {Chocolate, too!}

YAY! I love your numbers and I was going to use them for attendance/lunch count and you've made labels to match! Thank you! 🙂
I am so going to use your numbers! I love the bright colors! And I might just need to make a cool box top box like yours!
Sara 🙂
Smiling In Second Grade
I will be using the numbers as well!!! You have made great use of them! Thanks for sharing.
Love the box tops container!

I like your attendance board. I'm thinking I could do this for lunch choices. 1 for Absent and then 2 for lunch choices. If a child isn't here, their number would stay on absent. Yep! Sounds like a winner to me. Thank you!!!

Where Seconds Count
P.S. thank you for allowing me to think that through on this post. 🙂
Our PTO parent goes to the box top sie and finds a picture with ten spots to paste or tape the box tops on. This has motivated my kids more. We keep several extras around in case they fill them up before the month is over. They had different pictures for each month.

I love your ideas! I was wondering if you could make a label that says, "I am in the Library"? I am going to use this to make a board that tells me where the students are! Thank you so much for your freebie, I love it and have aready made my pick me pot!
The attendance chart is too cute, and I am loving those light bulbs!

Look Who's Teaching
I love it! So cute and colorful. I'd love it if you could make one that says "I am getting a school lunch." My school requires us to take a lunch count, but the kids don't make food choices until they get to the line (if there is even more than one option!)
Love all of these cute crafts. The little box top holder is presh! I need to make one.
Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas.
Michele
LOVE them! Never saw the lightbulb OR Boxtop ideas before. Nice! Thanks for the freebie, too. Yep- gonna scoop it up and use it to do exactly what you did! My class won Boxtops, too. Fun, but not too hard when there are only 8 other classes!
Thanks!

I love your blog! I also made a Box Tops container but it is not nearly as cute as yours. Plus, I used a French's Fried Onions container. Yeah…I'm not too fond of the whiff of onion I get whenever I open it. LOL! Let's just say I'll be making a new Box Tops container soon.
Thanks for the adorable freebie Teri!

I love your Box Top holder! My class was a big winner in our school contest this year too, so I guess I need to make a new container…I have been trying to figure out what to do with some empty plastic bottles I found in my classroom, and this will be perfect! Thanks!

Love this!!
Could you also make a label that says "I am having school lunch"?
At my school the students do not get to choose between a hot or cold school lunch…so I simple need a label that is just about "school lunch"
Thank you SO MUCH!!!! Can't wait to make this!!!

Not only would the box top container be great for the classroom but I need to make one for my house instead of just throwing them in the junk drawer and digging them out later. 🙂
