I started the Elf on the Shelf tradition in my classroom last year.  I’m always looking for new and fun ways to put our elfie around the room, and because of Pinterest and blog stalking, I’ve found a TON!  I was clicking around, stumbled across the blog Team Johnson, and discovered Elf Kisses!  Here’s my take on the idea:

I had some Christmas scrapbook paper left over from another project, so I made a little tag out of it.  I added the words “Elf Kisses” with sparkly red stickers, punched a hole in the tag, tied a ribbon to it, and hung it from a pretty glass jar filled with Hershey Kisses.  Took me about two minutes total, and I had everything already, except for the kisses… I love fast and cheap projects!  I found a good spot for the elf and waited for my students to discover their treat!  The elf I also wrote a poem explaining Elf Kisses, and left a giant Hershey Kiss for me, because I’ve been extra good of course 🙂  If you’re interested in the poem, let me know and I’ll send it to you!
