Hi, friends! Thank you to everyone who sent thoughts and prayers my way during and after Sandy! Luckily, my family and our homes were unharmed… my heart goes out to those who can’t say the same.
School has been closed all week {we go back tomorrow}, and my house has been in the dark since Monday. I’ve been spending A LOT of time at my parents’ house {only three minutes from my home} because they have had power this whole time!! They just got cable/Internet back today, so here I am! 🙂
I’ve been working on many things during my impromptu week off… one of which was updating my heart the flag craftivity to include Veterans Day writing papers:

I’ve also been working on a little freebie pack! It’s an 11 pager that would be perfect for Veterans Day, too! thank you, hero! {free printables} includes writing pages with graphics for the Army, Marines, Air Force, and Navy:
All pages are titled, “Thank you, Hero!” and feature different graphics. They’re also available with primary and secondary lines. One page has space for little learners to draw a picture instead {pictured above}!
