As teachers, it’s so very rewarding to watch our little ones turn into READERS!  I teach first grade, and I often find that my students are all over the place: some come into my classroom reading above level, while others come in well below.  It’s great to witness their growth throughout the year as everyone becomes successful readers!!

One component to learning how to read is sight word practice… and lots of it!  That’s why I’m creating a series of sight word practice pages for my little ones.  Each page will focus on ONE sight word.  Take a look:
Kiddos will trace, write, color, stamp, circle, and read & copy a sentence using the sight word.  The sentences include picture support and have touch dots underneath each word to support tracking!
The examples above are from the Pre-Primer pack.  There are 40 words:
a – and – away – big – blue – can – come – down – find – for – funny – go – help – here – I – in – is – it – jump – little – look – make – me – my – not – one – play – red – run – said – see – the – three – to – two – up – we – where – yellow – you

You can grab Sight Word Super Heroes {Pre-Primer} now in my shop!  I’ve also included the Pre-Primer edition in the Sight Word Super Heroes {Growing Bundle}!  This bundle will soon include printables for the Primer and First Grade words, too!

Before I sign off, I wanted to show you a little “behind the scenes” look at a TpT-mama photoshoot!
Summer kept stealing stamps and crayons while I was trying to take my pictures!  She is seriously too cute!!! ::heart eyes::

Have a great night! 🙂
